Or at least, all signs are indicating that its going to be. At the commencement of this entry the time is a quarter to two in the morning. So I’ve been sleepless for awhile so far, given that ‘bedtime’ is at 9pm. I feel hot, my skin is prickling with sweat despite the cool night air currently gusting in through the open windows. Its wet and windy outside, so the air is quite brisk! I’ve got the fan on too, so Sam’s well and truly rugged up. Combine that with the aches, including the beginnings of yet another blistering migraine, and the restlessness that comes with exhaustion and fatigue and one begins to consider the possibilities that inevitably present themselves. Insomnia? Fever? Infection? All seem viable, given current symptoms.
The fact that my mind is a swirling miasma of thoughts, fears, dreams, hopes, rampant emotions and a little green monster that won’t stop singing doesn’t help the situation either.
Lets break it down into a nice, simple list. Just to clarify where my head is at, right now:
- The Wedding, and the myriad of sub-issues that come with it.
- The news received recently, and confirmed as a very high probability tonight, of a move to Perth sometime in the very near future.
- The ‘issue’ of my job.
- The house, the state it is in and trying to do something about it.
- The OVERWHELMING desire to do something creative.
- The current state of my body, the pains, the headaches, the nausea and trying to adjust to needing the toilet 15 minutes after eating something.
- The lack of sleep itself, which has become an issue.
- Sophie.
- Manda, Greg and soon-to-be-bub.
- Sam.
- What to do with my life.
- The current, gnawing, feeling that I should study.
- Money.
I’m sure I’m forgetting something, but I can’t think of it right now. It’ll come to me later, might edit it in then.
